Apna Sar-e-Anwar Aasman ki taraf uthaye huye the - Ibn Majah) aur Aap ﷺ ne farmaya "Kya (Ai Aisha!) Aapka ye khayal tha ki Allah aur Uska Rasool Aapki Haq-talfi karega?" Maine kaha, "Ya Rasoolullah ﷺ! Mujhe guman guzra ki Aap Apni kisi aur Zauja-e-Mutahara ke paas tashreef na le
gaye ho. Aap ﷺ ne farmaya, "Beshaq, Allah (SWT) Sha'ban ki pandrahwi (15vi) raat ko Aasman-
e-Duniya ki taraf ek khas shaan ke sath nazil hota hai aur Banu Kaib ki bhed ke baal se bhi zyada logo ki Bakshish farmata hai." Urdu/Hindi Translation : Abu Thalaba Radiallahu anhu riwayat karte hain, Rasoolullah ﷺ ne farmaya : "Sha'ban ki pandrahwi (15vi) raat ko, Allah apni makhlook ki taraf khaas tawajjoh farmata hai aur Woh sabhi ki Maghfirat karta hai siwaye uske jo Bughz aur Dusro se keena rakhta hai." [Bayhqi, Tafsir ad-Dar al-Manthur Under the Verse 44 : 3]

Urdu/Hindi Translation: Hazrat Uthmaan bin Abil Aas Radiallahu anhu riwayat karte hain, Rasoolullah ﷺne farmaya : "Sha'ban ki pandrahwi (15vi) raat ko Allah Aasman-e-Duniya ki taraf ek khas shaan ke sath nazil hota hai. Phir Ailaan karta hai: 'Hai koi jo Mujhse Istaghfar karne wala, ki Main usko maaf kar du? Hai koi kuch talab karne wala, ki Mai usko ataa kar du? Allah iss tarah sabhi ki muradein poori farmata hai siwaye badkari karne walo ke aur Mushriko ke." [Al-Baihaqi, Durre Manthur, Vol. 6, Page 27]
 

7. Urdu/Hindi Translation: Sayyidah Aisha Radiallahu anhu riwayat karti hain, Rasoolullah ﷺ ne farmaya : ".... Mere paas Jibreel (A.S) aye aur kaha: "Ye Sha'ban ki pandrahwi (15vi) raat hai. Allah iss raat mein Bani Kalb ki bakriyon ke baal ke barabar logo ki maghfirat farma deta hai. Halaki, Allah iss raat siwaye kaafir ke, apne dil mein adaawat rakhne wale, apne karibi rishtedaron se talluk todne wale ke, apne takhno se niche patloon pehanne wale ke, waalidai'n ki na-farmani karne wale ke aur sharabi ke Apni nazre rahmat nahi farmaata. ..." Urdu/Hindi Translation : Hazrat Ali bin Abu Talib Radiallahu anhu riwayat karte hain, Rasooullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) ne farmaya, 'Jab Nisf-Shaban ki raat aaye, to uski raat ko Ibadat mein guzara karo aur uske din ko Roza rakha karo. Allah gurub-e-aaftab se hi Aasman-e-Duniya par iss raat ko nazil hota hai aur farmata hai : 'Hai koi jo Mujhse Istaghfar karne wala, ki Main usko maaf kar du? Hai koi Mujhse rizk talab karne wala, ki Main usko rizk ataa kar du? 1. The general virtue of this night has been accepted by many great Ulama of the past. From among many great scholars which have agreed to the virtue of this night are: Umar ibn Abdul-Aziz, Imaam al-Shaafi’ee, Imaam al-Awzaa’ie, Attaa ibn Yassaar, Imaam al-Majd ibn Taymiyah, ibn Rajab al- Hambaliy and Hafiz Zaynu-ddeen al-Iraaqiy (Rahmatullaahi alayhim) [Hafiz ibn Rajab, Lataiful Ma’aarif, Page 263-264][Hãfiz Zayud-deen Iraqi, FaydhulQadeer, Vol. 2 Page 317]

Imam Ibn Taymiyya : “ As for the middle night of Sha’baan, there are various narrations that have been narrated regarding its significance and it has been reported from a group of the Salaf (predecessors) that they performed Salaat in it individually, hence, such a deed cannot be disputed.’ [Imam Ibn Taymiyya, Majmoo’ al- Fataawa, Vol. 23, Page 132]

I saw two gold bangles on my hands. This disturbed me, but I was inspired to blow on them, so I blew on them and they flew away. I interpreted the two bangles as the two great liars who would appear after me, and one of them is al Ansee from Sanaa, and the other, Musaylimah, from Yamaamah” [Sahih of Muslim, vol 4 pp 1228-9 no 5650]

Dream interpretation in Islam – Cows: Fat cows, Lean Cows

Fat cows indicate a good yield of harvest while lean cows indicate a poor yield.
Based on: Prophet Joseph’s (Yusuf’s) dream “O Joseph!” (he said) “O man of truth! expound to us (the dream) of seven fat kind whom seven lean ones devour and of seven green ears of corn and (seven) others withered: that I may return to the people and that they may understand.” (Joseph) said: “For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap ye shall leave them in the ear except a little of which ye shall eat. “Then will come after that (period) seven dreadful (years) which will devour what ye shall have laid by in advance for them (all) except a little which ye shall have (specially) guarded.
“Then will come after that (period) a year in which the people will have abundant water and in which they will press (wine and oil).” [Surah Yusuf (12): 46-49]

Dreams in Islam about Cover, Clothing

Seeing clothing or a cover in a dream may refer to a husband or wife according to the metaphor ‘libaas’ (meaning: clothing/cover). [Sharh as Sunnah vol 12 p 221]

Ripe Dates – Islam dream

Dreaming of oneself eating ripe dates, acquiring them, etc. may signify Allah’s granting of provision, or a reminder to pay charity, or a reminder to avoid extravagance.
Based on: “It is He who produces gardens with trellises and without and dates and tilth with produce of all kinds and olives and pomegranates similar (in kind) and different (in variety): eat of their fruit in their season but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not by excess: for Allah loveth not the wasters” [Surah al Anaam (6): 141]

Fresh Dates

In islamic dreams if one sees fresh Ibn Taab dates in a dream, it indicates that one’s practise of the religion will become better.
Based on: Anas ibn Malik (ra) quoted Prophet Muhammad saying “Last night I dreamt that we were in the house of Uqbah ibn Raafi and were brought some Ibn Taab fresh dates. I interpreted it as meaning that eminence in this world will be granted to us, a blessed hereafter, and that our religion has become good” [Sahih of Muslim, vol 4 p 1228 no 5647; Sunan of Abu Dawood, vol 3 p 1397 no 5007]

Door or Gate

In dream interpretation in Islam, seeing oneself enter a door or a gate in a dream, may refer to the successful completion of a project, or the winning of an argument. [Sharh as Sunnah vol 12 p 221]
Based on: Enter upon them though the gate. For when you enter victory will be yours” [Surah al Maidah (5): 23]

Egg

Seeing an egg in a dream may refer to a woman, according to the metaphor used in Quran referring to the maidens of paradise. [Sharh as Sunnah vol 12 p 220]
Based on: “And they will have with them chaste females with lowered, large, beautiful eyes; delicate and pure, like well preserved hidden eggs” [Surah as Saaffaat (37): 48-9]

Flowing Spring

A flowing spring in a dream indicates continued reward for one’s good deeds.
Based on: Kharijah ibn Zaid ibn Thabit (ra) narrated that, Um Al-’Ala an Ansari woman who had given the Pledge of allegiance to Allah’s Apostle said, (Uthman bin Maz’un came in our share when the Ansars drew lots to distribute the emigrants (to dwell) among themselves. He became sick and we looked after (nursed) him till he died. Then we shrouded him in his clothes. Allah’s Apostle came to us. I (addressing the dead body) said, ‘May Allah’s Mercy be on you, O Aba As-Sa’ib! I testify that Allah has honored you.’ The Prophet said, ‘How do you know that?’ I replied, ‘I do not know, by Allah.’ He said, ‘As for him, death has come to him and I wish him all good from Allah. By Allah, though I am Allah’s Apostle, I neither know what will happen to me, nor to you.( Um Al-’Ala said, “By Allah, I will never attest the righteousness of anybody after that.” She added, “Later I saw in a dream, a flowing spring for ‘Uthman. So I went to Allah’s Apostle and mentioned that to him. He said, ‘That is (the symbol of) his good deeds (the reward for) which is going on for him.’ [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 pp119-20 no 145]

Elevation dreams in Islam

Seeing onself in a dream either elevated, ascending or in the sky may refer to an elevation in status or rank (rifah). [Sharh as Sunnah vol 12 p 220]
Based on Prophet Idrees, where the word ‘rafanaa’ is used “And I raised him to a high station” (Wa rafanahu makanan aliy ya) [Surah Maryam (19): 57]

Garden

Seeing a garden in islamic dreams indicates the richness of Islam.
Based on: Abdullah ibn Salaam said: (In a dream) I saw myself in a garden, and there was a pillar in the middle of the garden, and there was a handhold at the top of the pillar. I was asked to climb it. I said, “I cannot.” Then a servant came and lifted up my clothes and I climbed (the pillar), and then got hold of the handhold, and I woke up while still holding it. I narrated that to the Prophet who said, “The garden symbolizes the garden of Islam, and the handhold is the firm Islamic handhold which indicates that you will be adhering firmly to Islam until you die.” [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 p 117 no 142]

Dream interpretation in Islam – Furnishing

Seeing furniture and rugs in a dream may indicate the coming of a time of rest or a break from a period of difficulty or it may imply the attainment of an administrative office which was sought. [Sharh as Sunnah, vol 12 p 221]
Based on: “Reclining on couches lined with brocade and the fruits from the two gardens will be nearby” [Surah ar Rahman (55): 54]
Furnishing in a islam dream may also symbolise women and children.
Based on: “They will be on elevated couches. And I have specifically created them virgins who will love husbands of equal age” [Surah al Waaqiah (56): 34-37]

Gifts

Recieving a gift in a dream may indicate a blessing of happiness. [Sharh as Sunnah, vol 12 p 221]
Based on: “Indeed you are happy with your gift” [Surah an Naml (27): 36]

Meaning of dreams in Islam: Gold

Being given gold or finding gold may indicate finding a suitable wife or a successful marriage. The symbolism is derived when the Prophet restricted ornaments of gold to women.
Based on: Abdullab ibn Zurrayr related that he heard Ali ibn Abi Talib say that the Prophet took some silk in his right hand and some gold in his left hand. Then he said, “These two are forbidden to the males of my nation” [Sunan of Abu Dawood, vol 3 p 1133 no 4046; an Nasaee and Ahmad]

Dreams in Islam about Keys

Seeing keys in one s hand, or receiving keys in a dream, indicates the receipt of administrative authority. [Saheeh Muslim: Sharh an Nawawee, vol 8 p 39]
Based on: Abu Huraira said: The Prophet said, “I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with awe (cast into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping last night, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me till they were put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle left (this world) and now you people are carrying those treasures from place to place. [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 p 106 no 127; Sahih of Muslim, vol 1 p 266 no 1063]

Leg irons

Seeing oneself bound in leg-irons indicates stability in the religion.
Based on: Muhammad ibn Seereen said: “Abu Huraira hated to see neck irons (metallic neck collars) in a dream, and people generally liked to see leg-irons. Leg-irons were said to symbolise one’s constant and form adherence to religion” [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 p 118-9 no 144]
Imam an Nawawee noted that the reason shakles (qayd) on the feet were liked was because they indicate avoiding sin and evil (i.e. the feet are prevented from taking the body to corruption). On the other hand, shackles (ghull) on theneck is one of the characteristics of those in Hell (Quran 13:5, 34:33, 36:8 and 40:71). [Sharh an Nawawee, vol 8 p 28]

Laughing – meaning of dreams in Islam

Dreaming of oneself laughing in a dream may refer to the arrival of good news, good times. [Sharh as Sunnah, vol 12 p 221]
Based on: “Some faces on that day will be bright, laughing and rejoicing at the good news” [Surah Abasa (8): 38-9]

Dream interpretation in Islam – Marriage

Dreaming of oneself getting married may indicate an impeding marriage. If there are no marriage plans at the time of the dream, one may propose to the women shown in the dream.
Based on: Aisha said: Allah’s Apostle said to me, “You were shown to me twice (in my dream) before I married you. I saw an angel carrying you in a silken piece of cloth, and I said to him, ‘Uncover (her),’ and behold, it was you. I said (to myself), ‘If this is from Allah, then it must happen.’Later I dreamt of the angel carrying someone in a silken piece of cloth, and I said (to him), ‘Uncover (her),’ and behold, it was you. I said (to myself), ‘If this is from Allah, then it must happen.’ ” [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 p 115-6 no 140]

Mountains

Seeing mountains in islam dreams means that you are going to Alaska. LOL just joking to see if anyone has made it this far.
Seeing mountains in a dream may indicate the attainment of an administrative post.
Based on: Verses to Prophet David “Indeed, I made the mountains glorify our praises along with David in the evening andin the morning…and I strengthened his dominion” [Surah Saad (38): 18 & 20]

Islamic dreams: Pearls

Dreaming of pearls may indicate Allah’s granting of a mater, male or female, which refer to the young men and women of paradise granted to the believers.
Based on: “And their will be large eyed maidens like hidden pearls” [Surah al Waqiah (56): 22-3]
“And there will be young men of perpetual youth serving them; if you saw the youths, you would think that they were scattered pearls” [Surah al Insaan (76): 19]

Milk

Receiving milk in a dream means that religious knowledge has been granted.
Based on: Abdullah ibn Umar said: Allah’s Apostle said, “While I was sleeping, I was given a bowl full of milk (in the dream) and I drank from it (to my fill) till I noticed its wetness coming out of my limbs. Then I gave the rest of it to ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab.”
The persons sitting around him, asked, “What have you interpreted (about the dream) O Allah’s Apostle?” He said, “It is (religious) knowledge.” [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 p 112 no 135]

Room

In dream interpretation in Islam, Dreaming of oneself in a room or in different rooms, may refer to being safefrom what one fears.
Based on: “They will reside in rooms in peace and security” [Surah Saba (34): 37]

Ruler in islamic dreams:

Being addressed by a ruler in a dream may refer to the attainment of a high post or rank. [Sharh as Sunnah vol 12 p 220]
“When he (the ruler) spoke to him, he said, ‘Indeed, today you are considered an established, trustworthy person’” [Surah Yusuf (12): 54]

Rope – islam dream

Seeing a rope in a dream and grabbing hold of it, may indicate one’s adherance to the covenant with God and Islam. [Sharh as Sunnah, vol 12 p 220]
Based on: “Hold on firmly to the rope of Allah and do not become divided” [Surah al Imran (3): 103]

Sexual Intercourse

Dream interpretation in islam of sexual intercourse are fundamentally satanic and therefore not interpretable. However, they may only be classified as good dreams if the people involved are married.
If a person has an orgasm while dreaming, taking a complete ritual bath (ghusl) is obligatory on that individual to attain the state of purity (taharaah) necessary to make formal prayers.
Anas ibn Malik reported that Umm Sulaym came to the Prophet while he was with Aisha and asked him, “O Messenger of Allah, when a woman sees and experiences in a dream what a ma does, what should she do?”. Aisha remarked, “O Umm Sulaym, you have humiliated women, May your right hand be covered in dust”. The Prophet said to Aisha, “May your right hand be covered in dust”. He then said to Umm Sulaym, “O Umm Sulaym, she should take ghusl if she sees any discharge” [Sahih of Muslim, vol 1 p 178 no 607]

Shirt dreams in Islam

Wearing a shirt in a dream indicates adherences to the religion. The longer the shirt, the greater commitment to Islam.
Abu Said ul Khudri said: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “While I was sleeping, I saw (in a dream) the people being displayed before me, wearing shirts, some of which (were so short that it) reached as far as their breasts and some reached below that.
Then ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab was shown to me and he was wearing a shirt which he was dragging (behind him).” They asked.
What have you interpreted (about the dream), O Allah’s Apostle?” He said, “The religion.” [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 p 113-4 no 137]

Ship

Seeing a ship in islamic dreams may mean success or escape. [Sharh as Sunnah, vol 12 p 220]
Based on: Prophet Noah “Then I saved him and those with him in the shop, and made it a lesson for all of the worlds” [Surah al Ankaboot (29): 15]

Sword in Islam dream:

Seeing a sword in a dream refers to one’s companions and supporters coming to their aid. [Saheeh Muslim: Sharh an Nawawee, vol 8 p 38]
Based on: Abu Musa said: The Prophet said, “I saw in a dream that I waved a sword and it broke in the middle, and behold, that symbolized the casualties the believers suffered on the Day (of the battle) of Uhud. Then I waved the sword again, and it became better than it had ever been before, and behold, that symbolized the Conquest (of Mecca) which Allah brought about and the gathering of the believers.” [Sahih of Bukhari, vol 9 p 133-4 no 164]

• Stories mentioned in the Qur'an of their prophets

"We gave him Isaac, and Jacob: all We guided and before him, We guided Noah, and among his progeny David, Solomon, Ayub, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron :Thus do We reward those who do good. And Zakariya and Yahya, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of righteous. And Isma'il and Elisha and Jonah (Yunus) and Lut. And to all we gave favour above the nations." <Qur'an An'am 6:84-86>
 

The Qur'an contains many stories of the prophets sent to Bani Israel. We can read about the story of the rise of Daud (pbuh), who was the King of the Israelites , particularly of Saul's fight with Goliath (jalut) and Goliath's death at the hands of Daud (pbuh).The war broke out between the Israelites and the Philistines. The army of the Philistines was commanded by Goliath who was a man of lofty stature. The Israelites were overawed to see Goliath's army which was well accoutred. Daud (pbuh) called out his opponents to combat but none of the Israelites had the courage to accept the challenge. 

The people of Bani Israel had no courage, and the Prophet Daud could not bear this disgrace. So he decided to face Goliath for the sake of truth, honour and dignity. His story reveals that justice is an essential part of faith and, further, that God loves the just and abhors the unjust.

Also we know that Daud's yougest son, Prophet Sulaimán (pbuh) was a wise King. His efforts to first subdue the powerful Queen of Sheba and later to persuade her to take the right path also find a place in the Qur'an.

Similarly, the story of Zakariya (pbuh) and his son Yahya (John the Baptist) (pbuh) , and their unbounded faith in God and His Mercy. Zakariya (pbuh) was an illustrious prophet of the Israelites. He was one of the descendants of Prophet Sulaiman (pbuh). His people was so corrupted that he was desirous of having a son to become his good successor, in order to maintain the warmth of religious activities. His teaching had not only been ignored by the people of Bani Israel, but they also tortured him. The Holy Book mentions the cruel acts of Bani Israel saying : "Lo! those who disbelieve the revelations of Allah and slay the Prophets wrongfully and slay those of mankind who enjoin equity, promise him a painful doom."
<Qur'an Al-Imran 3:21>

The story of Musa (pbuh) when he went to the mountain, is an other example.The Prophet Musa (pbuh) was much grieved to know that his followers had become addicted to praying to the cow instead of Allah. Whenever his brother Prophet Harun (pbuh) forbade them to do so, they made fun of him, and tortured him. Musa (pbuh) tried hard to uproot this form of idolatry from the hearts of the Israelites. Some men who had gone astray, repented but most of them insisted on worshipping a cow. 

Musa (pbuh) said to his people: "Surely, Allah commands you that you should sacrifice a cow." <Qur'an Baqara 2: 71> Gifted with patience, he kept on conveying to the people the message of God to his people.

THE PROPHETS OF BANI ISRAEL (Children of Israel)

"O Children of Israel! Call to mind My favour which I bestowed on you and that I preferred you to all others (for my Message) <Qur'an Baqara 2:47>

The history of Bani Israel is full of favors from Allah and their constant ungratefulness to Him. The Qur'an (sura Baqara 40-108) contains a huge list of charges of crimes from Allah against their misdeeds. They never fulfilled their covenant with Allah and so “disgrace and homelessness" was destined for them as a mark of punishment from Allah.

• Characteristics of the Children of Israel

The Children of Israel liked to spread mischief and corruption on earth and strived hard to accomplish this "...they (ever) strive to make mischief on earth. And Allah does not like the Mufsidun (mischief-makers)." <Qur'an Maida 5:65> They refused to carry out the orders of the many prophets sent to them because they were afraid of death and too attached to this world. "But they will never seek for death, on account of the sins which their hands have sent on before them" <Qur'an Baqara 2:95>

God mentions how the Children of Israel rebelled and disobeyed the Command of Allah, and how they became extremely arrogant.
They were people of indignity, disobedience and transgression as stated by God in the Holy Book: "Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allah, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayats (evidences) of Allah and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allah's disobedience, crimes and sins)"

They were people of cowardliness, dismay and weakness.

They have returned to mischief by disbelieving in the last Messenger, by covering his characteristics that are mentioned in their books, and by breaking their covenant with him and supporting his enemies, and many of their other hideous habits. They treated their prophets with no respect whatsoever. Their disbelief and rejection of the Message of Allah with utmost arrogance was the true nature of the Jews. They killed many prophets such as 

Zakariya (pbuh) and his son Yahya (pbuh). They also wanted to kill Isa (pbuh), but Allah elevated him before they could burn him. That is why no deviant nation has been cursed by Allah more than that of the Children of Israel.

As a retaliation for the utter disobedience to the Commandments of Allah and His prophets, over time they suffered many calamities as a result of this disobedience. Plague broke out and numerous people died miserably. In spite of all the past, the Jews could still have obtained God's forgiveness if they had not obstinately rejected the greatest of the Prophet also. But as they persisted in their sins, God's punishments also continued to visit them.

Prophet Muhammad (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) gave us a simple formula to be the best:

"The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it." [Bukhari : Book 6 : Volume 61 : Hadith 545]

So go ahead, learn and teach the Qur'an, and make yourself among the best of Muslims, Insha'Allah. ♥

* Strive HARD in your search, worshiping Allaah sincerely and diligently

* Prepare for it mentally and physically

* Take a nap during the day, if possible and remember…DO NOT OVEREAT!

* Shun worldly pleasures

* Spend these nights in prayer, reciting Qur’aan, making dua, doing istighfaar.

DUA:

اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني

Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibb al-‘afwa fa’affu ‘anni

(O Allaah, You are forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).” (Tirmidhi)\

Supplication during the Night of Decree

Taken from Tafsir Ibn Kathir

It is recommended to supplicate often during all times, especially during the month of Ramadan, in the last ten nights, and during the odd nights of it even more so. It

is recommended that one say the following supplication a lot:

"O Allah! Verily, you are the Oft-Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me."

"Allaahumma Inn
aka 'Afuwwun Tuhibbul-'Afwa Fa'affoo 'annee."

This is due to what Imam Ahmad recorded from Aishah that she said "O Messenger of Allah! If I find the Night of Al-Qadr what should I say?" He (saws) replied,

Say : "O Allah! Verily You are the Oft-Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me." [Ahmad 6:182]

At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasai and Ibn Majah have all recorded this Hadith . At-Tirmdhi said "This Hadith is Hasan Sahih" . [Tahfat Al-Ahwadhi 9:495, An-Nasai in Al-Kurba 6:218, and Ibn Majah 2:1265]

Al-Hakim recorded it in his Mustadrak (with a different chain of narration) and he said that it is authentic according to the criterial of the two Shaykhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

[Al-Hakim 1:530] An Nasai also recorded it. [An-Nasai in Al-Kubra 6:219]

Maximize your ibadah by doing:

1 - Recite the Qur’an abundantly and understand the meaning!
2 - Strive to gain forgiveness

اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعفُ عني"
Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun, tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni

'O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me'."

[Related by Ahmad, vol. 6, p. 171, 182, 183, 208, and 258; Al-Tirmidhy, vol. 5, p. 534, no. 3513; Ibn Majah, vol. 2, 1265, no. 3850; and Al-Hakim, vol. 1, p. 530.]

3. Do much Superogatory Prayers (Nafil), such as:

•► Two Ruk'ah prayer after ablution (wudu')

The Messenger of Allah, sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa salam said: ► "Whosoever performs ablution like that of mine, then prays two ruk'ah without having any other concern on his mind, all of his past sins will be forgiven." [(Bukhari & Muslim): 159 & 539]

•► Tahajjud

Allah Most High said, “Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of the night, and (the recital of) the Qur’an at dawn. Lo! (the recital of) the Qur’an at dawn is ever witnessed. And some part of the night awake for its recital, as voluntary worship for you. It may be that your Lord will raise you to a praised estate.” [Qur’an, 17: 78-79]

4 - Increase in Dhikr (Rememberance of Allah)

5 - Make much dua

We should be very busy in Dua as much as we can especially in the last 10 odd numbered.

Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an:

"When my servants ask you concerning me, (tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me." [2:186]

The place of duaa is so high to Allah, that the Prophet(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim) had said: "Nothing is more honourable to Allah the Most High than du`a." [Sahih al-Jami` no.5268].

Almighty Allah also said: "The most excellent worship is du`a." [Sahih Al-Jami` no. 1133]

Therefore let us devote much of the night of Qadr in dua asking of Allah for his mercy and forgiveness for all of our past sins and making firm intentions to Allah that we will change for the better and strive to become closer to him as well as make our deen a FULL part of our lives and not just a little part of our life as Allah says:

Allah tells us In the Qur'an to enter fully into our deen and not partly:

O believers enter into Islam completely and do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan, surely he is your clear-cut enemy.... (Surah Al-Baqara, Ayah 208-210)

So then will we not make Islam a FULL part of our lives? This is our best opportunity and if we don't take it and death comes to us then surely we will regret it for ETERNITY!

And Allah knows best in all matters!

Essential Du'as / Supplications

Greeting another Muslim

As salamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Translation: May the peace of Allah descend upon you and His Mercy and Blessings.

When salaam is conveyed (when some conveys salam to you on another's behalf).

Alayka wa alay-his salaamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Translation: Upon you and upon him be the peace of Allah, His mercy and blessings.

Before a meal

Bismillahi wa 'ala baraka-tillah.
Translation: With Allah's name and uon the blessings granted by Allah (do we eat).

After having a meal

Alham do lillah hilla-thee At Amana wa saquana waja 'alana minal Muslimeen.
Translation: All praise is due to Allah who gave us food and drink and who made us Muslims.

Dua for ZamZam (Holy Water)

Allah humma Innee As alooka 'ilman naa fee-ow wa Rizq-ow waa See-ow wa Shee-faa amm min Kooll-lee daa-een.
Translation:  O Allah, I ask You to grant me beneficial knowledge, abundant sustenance and cure from all diseases.

Before wudhu (ablution)

Allahumma-gh fir-lee dhan-bee wawass si'lee fi dari wa bariklee fi rizq.
Translation: O Allah Forgive my sins, make my home accommodating and grant me abundance in my livelihood.

After wudhu

Allahummaj 'al-ni minat-tow-wa beena waj-alni minal muta-tah-hireen.
Translation: I testify that there is no deity except Allah; He is One and has no partner.  And I testify that Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is His servant and apostle.

When entering the masjid (mosque)

A'uthu bil-Lahil 'atheemi wa biwajhi-hil kareemi wasultaani-hil qadeemi minash-shaytaanir rajeem.
Translation: I seek protection from Allah, The Sublime, and I seek the protection of His Merciful Self and of His Eternal Kingdom against the accursed devil.

After sneezing

Alhamdulillah! (right graphic) / Alhamdu lillahi 'ala kull-lee ha-leen (left graphic).
Translation: Thanks and all praise be to Allah (or) Thanks and all praise be to Allah under all conditions.

Reply to someone who sneezes

Yar Hamoo kall Lah.
Translation: May Allah have mercy on you.

When a Non-Muslim sneezes

Yahdee Kumullahu wa Yaslih Ba Lakoom.
Translation: May Allah give you guidance and make your children pious.

"[They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers !!"
Quran 4:25

How exclusively Allah mentions the fact about people keeping "secret lovers" !!!

So here my people the Bf-Gf or any kinda relationship between a boy n a gal is condemned by Allah..

Islam rather encourages "halal" steps i.e. early marriage.

May Allah save us all from this fitnah of Shaytan and help our brothers and sisters already in this trap.

Are you ready for the last 10 nights of Ramadan?

The last 10 nights of Ramadan

In one of these nights, the greatest night of all nights "Laylatul Qadr" will take place. Whatever good deed you do on that night, you would get the reward of

doing that deed for 1000 months! Now that's what I call Productivity!

Scholars say that it is Allah's (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) wisdom to hide the knowledge of which night of these 10 nights is Laylatul Qadr so that we work hard and try our best to worship Him in the best possible way. Otherwise we'll focus all our efforts on one night and neglect the others.

So how will you prepare for these 10 nights? How will you make them special?

For each day, book what you'll do hour by hour to truly make these 10 nights special.

“O Allah, bless my Ummah in its early hours.”
Ameen.

If you're finding it hard to keep up with the last 10 nights so far, especially with the increase of worship and trying to balance other priorities such as work/school, or preparation for Eid, here are a small set of reminders which might h

elp motivate you:

1. It's only a few days...soon Ramadan will be over and you'll back to "normal" life.

2. You don't know which of these nights might save you on the Day of Judgement..

3. You don't know if your previous nights and days have been accepted or not.

4. You've so much to be thankful for, don't all your blessings deserve a bit of extra effort?

5. Can you guarantee to live till next Ramadan?

You'll be fine
Remember you're dealing with Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) Al-Shakoor (the One who Thanks), he won't forsake your extra effort and hard work for Him if you're sincere.

Just one last stretch of efforts and may Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) accept it from you and reward you for it, ameen.

1 ➲ Pronounce the Tasmiyah

"[بِسْمِ اللهِ] [In the Name of Allah]

2 ➲ Handling the drink with the right hand

As the Prophet (PBUH) said to the kid: " O young man, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right" [Muslim, The Book of Drinks, Hadith 2022]

3 ➲ When drinking breath outside of vessel; and do not drink at all once, but rather take three breaths

As the Prophet (PBUH) used to do [Aboo Daawood, The Book of Drinks, Hadith 3727]

4 ➲ Sit while Drinking

The Prophet (PBUH) said: " Let not one of you drink standing" [Muslim, The Book of Drinks, Hadith 2026]

5 ➲ Say Tahmeed (Al-hamdu lillâh) after drinking

The Prophet (PBUH) said: " Verily Allah is pleased with the slave who eat his food and praises Him for it and he who drinks and praises Him for it" [Muslim, The Book of Drinks, Hadith 2734]

were never afraid that
something would happen to you
except that you would have patience”. Amr said, “3 things

leaving the loved ones in the dunya (this is the easiest). O Allah
you ordered me but I was slow in
accepting your orders and you
forbade me from doing some
things and I disobeyed. O Allah
one of your attributes is Al- ‘afuw (The Pardoning, The
Forgiving), so please grant me your ‘Afw."

Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) ascended the minbar and said:
“Ameen, ameen,
ameen.” It was said: ‘O Messenger of
Allaah, you ascended the minbar and said,
‘Ameen, ameen,
ameen.” He said:
“Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and said: ‘If
Ramadaan comes and a person is not
forgiven, he will enter Hell and Allaah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen. He said: ‘

O Muhammad, if both or one of a person’s parents are alive and he does not honour
them and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allaah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen. He said: ‘If you are mentioned
in a person’s
presence and he does not send blessings upon you and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allaah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen.”
